TIME FOR A SANTA BARBARA VISIT:  APTRA's annual Santa Barbara seminar is just around the former at my old stomping grouds, KEYT-TV.  We're putting together another good round of seminars, ranging from producing and videography to anchoring and reporting.  There's also a full slate of radio news panels.

Our seminar is a must for job hunters, with the opportunity to get your resume tape critiqued by a news director. Panelists include Jeff Wald, News Director at KTLA/Los Angeles; Jim Bunner, 11 p.m. producer at KNBC/Los Angeles; Kevin Riggs, Political Reporter at KCRA-TV/Sacramento, and many more. REGISTRATION IS LIMITED, AND WE SELL OUT EVERY YEAR.  The full schedule, and registration information are available via the front page of the APTRA.org website.  Also, this is high season for Santa Barbara tourism, so if you're planning to stay overnight, you need to look now (rooms can get very pricey!)
