Live Video Chats Coming Soon

September 14, 2011

I first teamed up with Hal Eisner about 10 years ago. I had a column called Q The Video right here on haleisner.com. I showcased resume tapes from aspiring journalists. This was pre-YouTube and students were handing me VHS tapes. Needless to say, the process of converting and uploading videos to the web was much more painful back then. Fast forward to 2011 and we have the capability to stream live videos on the world wide web! All of this technology is so exciting and fascinating to me.

Vokle.com’s live video chat technology is what I’m most excited about right now. This live streaming service is different than others because it gives viewers a chance to be a part of the discussion. Anyone can join by submitting text questions or using their web cams. Check out the following video to get a glimpse of the technology I’m raving about. You’ll also hear about the new project that we’re working on. Enjoy!
